LAPD officer exposed coworkers’ alleged racist remarks — now HE could go to prison


LA resident Daniel Sosa questioned why Officer Daniel Flores is facing criminal charges after he secretly recorded coworkers allegedly making racist, sexist and homophobic remarks while working in a unit that conducted background investigations for prospective LAPD employees.

Los Angeles County prosecutors charged Flores with 16 felony counts of eavesdropping or recording confidential communications without consent. He faces up to 13 years in prison if convicted. Flores faces up to 13 years in prison if convicted.
